  • World Ag Expo® Opens Next Week in Tulare, CA

    World Ag Expo, the world’s largest annual outdoor agricultural exposition, will open its gates next week at the International Agri-Center in Tulare. The show looks to welcome thousands of attendees from around the world for three days of innovation, education, and networking.

    Now in its 59th year, World Ag Expo continues to bring together growers, exhibitors, and industry leaders, showcasing the latest in agriculture across 2.6 million square feet of exhibit space with an average of over 1,200 exhibitors.

    The excitement kicks off on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. with the Opening Ceremonies, which will feature Luke J. Lindberg, Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), who will provide remarks. The ceremony will also highlight the winners of the Top-10 New Products Competition sponsored by F3 Innovate, and the recipients of the “We Believe in Growing” scholarship, sponsored by Coast Counties Peterbilt.

    This year’s World Ag Expo will also recognize the International Year of the Woman Farmer, celebrating the vital role women play in agriculture worldwide. Programming will be featured in the Women’s Conference Pavilion sponsored by Bank of America. Sessions will focus on leadership, innovation, and women in the field.

    A highlighted session on Tuesday afternoon will celebrate women working throughout agriculture in the Golden State with remarks from California Department of Food and Agriculture Secretary Karen Ross. Additional programming includes a panel discussion featuring women business leaders from around the world discussing how artificial intelligence is changing ag today.   • World Ag Expo® Names Ron Clark as New Chairman

    World Ag Expo®, the largest annual outdoor agricultural exposition, is gearing up to make its return in February, naming Ron Clark as the 2026 Show Chairman.

    “It’s an honor to be selected by my peers in the community, and to follow a long line of respected leaders,” said Clark. “I look forward to representing the greatest ag show in the world and welcoming visitors to discover the latest in agriculture.”

    A Tulare native, Clark has been involved in agriculture from a young age, working on his family farm since third grade. Over the years, he has managed his own farming operation while providing custom farming and farm management services. Committed to agricultural education and innovation, he has run test plots for various organizations, including the UC Cooperative Extension. Clark has served as Vice Chairman of Mid Valley Co-op and as a board member of numerous Kaweah Water Associations and the Tulare Joint Union High School District Ag Advisory Committee. A generational volunteer, he carries on his family’s long-standing tradition of supporting World Ag Expo.

    The theme for the 2026 show, “Grounds for Innovation,” highlights both the 2.6 million square feet of exhibit space, and its role as a showcase for the latest in agricultural technology. From the Top-10 New Products Competition to a wide array of exhibitors featuring cutting-edge solutions, innovation is always at the forefront of World Ag Expo.

  • Stan Creelman to Serve as 2024 World Ag Expo® Chairman

    The 2024 World Ag Expo® season was kicked off by Show Chairman, Stan Creelman, on Saturday, September 23rd. Hosted at the International Agri-Center®, the annual “Kickoff Dinner” was attended by volunteers, staff, and invited guests. The event provides the opportunity to gather and enjoy fellowship while setting the tone for the coming show.

    “I am honored to serve as the 2024 World Ag Expo® Chairman,” said Creelman. “There have been so many great leaders before me, it is humbling to be among them.”

    A local farmer, Creelman came to Tulare in 1976 to help manage a custom harvesting operation. Since then, he has held numerous roles in agriculture including managing the Mid-Valley Cotton Growers from 1989 – 2021. He has served on the board of the National Cotton Council and as President of the California Grower Owned Gin, the California Cotton Ginners and Growers Association, and the National Cotton Growers Association.

    The 2024 show theme “The Best Farm Show on Dirt,” is a fun play on the success of World Ag Expo® as an outdoor show.

  • 2023 CA Antique Equipment Show™ Cancelled Due to Local Floods

    Due to local flooding and for the safety of our attendees, exhibitors, vendors, volunteers, staff, and community, the 2023 California Antique Equipment Show™ has been cancelled. Tulare County communities have experienced road closures, levee breaks, flooding, and mandatory evacuations. The International Agri-Center® grounds are on call for emergency relief and are currently unavailable for public events.

    All vendors, sponsors, and exhibitors who have paid fees to the International Agri-Center® will be issued a full refund by the end of March.

    The Gun Raffle fundraiser will continue, and the drawing date has been extended to June 1, 2023. For raffle details and how to buy a ticket, visit www.antiquefarmshow.org/gun-raffle.

  • Taking Care of Business at the World Ag Expo

    World Ag Expo® returns live for its 56th show on Tuesday, February 14, in Tulare, California. Gates will open at 9:00 a.m.

    The red carpet rolls out on Tuesday for Opening Ceremonies at 8:00 a.m. in the Heritage Complex Banquet Hall. The ceremonial opening will begin with an awards ceremony for Top-10 New Products Winners and “We Believe in Growing” scholarship winners, sponsored by E.M. Tharp. Past World Ag Expo® Show Chairmen, VIPs, and national, state, and local elected officials will be in attendance.

    Opening Ceremonies will be followed by the U.S. House Committee on Agriculture 2023 Farm Bill Listening Session at 10:00 a.m. in the Banquet Hall. The event will bring together farmers, ranchers, producers, agribusiness owners, and more to solicit public feedback—an integral part of the Farm Bill reauthorization process.     World Ag Expo® seminars kick off at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday and run throughout the three-day show at the Seminar Center on the southeast end of the grounds.     The WET Center Innovation Pitch Event, hosted by Fresno State’s WET Center, will take place on Thursday afternoon and will introduce potential customers and World Ag Expo® attendees to new and emerging technologies and innovations from the Valley Ventures accelerator. Entertainment including live cooking demonstrations and workshops will take place in the World Ag Women pavilion all three days.

  • Steve Wilbur Introduced as 2022 World Ag Expo® Chairman

    After a 16-month wait, the 2022 World Ag Expo® season was kicked off by Show Chairman Steve Wilbur on Saturday, September 25. The “Kickoff Dinner” was attended by volunteers, staff, and invited guests at the Social Hall on the International Agri-Center® grounds. For many, it was the first time they had seen each other since the 2020 show.

    “This is a great night,” gushed Wilbur. “It is so good to be back together and working on a farm show!”

    A local cotton farmer, Wilbur also runs a dairy with his family, grows feed and multiple row crops. He has previously served as the International Agri-Center® Board Chair, as well as being the 2014 Chairman of the California Cotton Growers Association and serving on the board of Cotton Inc.

    The 2022 show proclaims World Ag Expo® is “Back in Agtion,” a play on words with a few meanings. While COVID-19 sidelined the live show in 2021, farmers and ag professionals never stopped working during the pandemic. Volunteers and staff are ready to bring back the live show and provide a place for everyone in ag to meet, shop, and learn something new. Plus, “Agtion” is a Dad-joke style play on “Action” reminding people that farm shows are a fun place to be.

    “We’re so happy to be back,” said Jerry Sinift, International Agri-Center® CEO. “The 2021 digital show was an interesting experience, but we’re ready to get our boots on the show grounds to work with our exhibitors and host our attendees.”

  • Dairy Girl Network to Host Two Events in CA Early 2020

    The Dairy Girl Network (DGN), an organization supporting all women in dairy by enhancing lives and creating opportunities, announces two events taking place in California in January and February 2020.

    DGN will be hosting a new event in California during the California Holstein Association’s state convention. The DGN Sharing Wisdom and Connect event will be held at The Penny in San Luis Obispo, California, on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The event will be open to dairywomen involved in all aspects of the dairy industry attending the Holstein meeting or just from California for a day of education and networking. Buses will leave the Embassy Suites at 8:45 a.m. and will handle transportation to and from the event. If traveling in for the day or want to drive separate, parking is available at The Penny.
     
    The DGN event will be held in beautiful downtown SLO at The Penny and include training seminars, lunch and wine tasting. The speakers will include Celeste Setrinni, a cattle rancher and owner of a design and communications business and Erin Nutcher, partner in Hidden Valley Dairy, who will share about her agriculture advocacy experiences and tips. Also speaking will be Paul Swearingen, Core-Leaders Network Founder who will cover conflict resolution and lead an activation and communication exercise. Welcoming the group and enjoying in the day will be Carrie Mess, a DGN Board Member and blogger at DairyCarrie.

    The second event in California will be held at World Ag Expo, Tulare, California, International Agri-Center. The Connect Event during World Ag Expo will be a coffee break open house which will be available at booth DS 105/106 on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. A short program will be held at 10:30 a.m. Join other dairywomen for a quick recharge to talk about your lives involving dairy farming. The event is for all women involved with any part of dairy – whether as a calf feeder, dairy owner, marketing or sales consultant servicing dairy farms or cheese producers, veterinarian, researchers, etc. If there is a dairy cow involved in what you do, you’re invited. The DGN Connect event price for World Ag Expo is $10.00. Attendees will enjoy coffee, snacks and receive a special DGN gift.
     
    For the second consecutive year at World Ag Expo, a Family Lounge will also be provided by Dairy Girl Network at booth DS 105/106. The Family Lounge provides a much-needed quiet space for families and new mothers. Amenities in the Lounge include a comfortable chair for  nursing/pumping, a diaper changing station with supplies, and a place to rest and recharge.   • International Agri-Center® Prepares for 2019 World Ag Expo®

    The International Agri-Center® is set to hold the 52nd World Ag Expo® February 12-14, 2019. The largest annual agricultural exposition of its kind, World Ag Expo® boasts more than 1,450 exhibitors displaying cutting-edge agricultural technology and equipment on 2.6 million square feet of exhibit space. In 2018, 106,700 people came from 49 states and 63 countries to attend the 51st World Ag Expo®.

    On Tuesday morning, Opening Ceremonies will kick off the show with special guest speaker, American Farm Bureau President Zippy Duvall. A variety of seminars will be offered, including dairy, water, international trade, government regulation and women in agriculture. These seminars are presented by professionals in the industry and provide attendees with valuable information to improve their operations.

    New this year will be a free, one-day conference aimed at young women interested in a career in agriculture.   • International Agri-Center Prepares For 50th Anniversary of World Ag Expo

    Tulare, Calif., (January 26, 2017) – World Ag Expo will celebrate its 50th anniversary show,  February 14-16, 2017.

    The largest annual agricultural exposition of its kind, World Ag Expo boasts more than 1,500 exhibitors displaying cutting-edge agricultural technology and equipment on 2.6 million square feet of exhibit space. A record-setting 106,349 people came from 47 states and 79 countries to attend 2016 World Ag Expo.

    The World Ag Expo Arena will once again offer daily Equipment Showcases, where exhibitors will perform live demonstrations of their latest products. Seminars will be offered in a variety of categories, including dairy, irrigation, international trade, business and farm management, marketing and media, and general agriculture. These seminars are presented by professionals in the industry and provide attendees with valuable information to improve their operations.

    The Top-10 New Products Competition, sponsored by Bank of America, is back with products offering new technology and increased efficiencies. From dairy nutrition and irrigation technology, to crop cleaning and melon harvesting, the Top-10 New Products has something to offer every type of farming operation.

    The newly expanded Career & Education Center has relocated to South Greenbelt, just north of the World Ag Women Pavilion. This area is larger and will allow more schools and companies serving the career-searching audience to be part of this space. “We are very passionate about ag education and want to do all we can to encourage the younger generations to pursue a career in agriculture,” said Kerissa Chapman, Ag Education Manager for the International Agri-Center. “We are excited about the opportunity to offer a larger space and further our mission as an education-based non-profit organization.”

    The Career & Education Center was previous located in the Hilvers Building, which will now become the home of World Ag Expo’s newest addition, Taste of California. Taste of California will provide opportunities for attendees to experience a glimpse of what California Agriculture provides to the world.
